"Another rip-roaring, swashbuckling adventure from Salgari with battles at sea, deadly traps, shipwrecks, cannibals, jungle hideouts and a fetid convict ship. I enjoyed being swept back in time and across the seas. Also Lorenzutti’s translation is smooth and seamless which means we never miss a beat or flow of all the twists and turns." ~Jessica, The Bookworm Chronicles
